Good Games has gaming on Tuesdays at 6:30pm and a few of us are going to be going to them semi-regularly.
If anyone is interested in going Good Games is located at Level 1/28 Malop St in Geelong.

For those that are going, are there any games that you want people to bring?

I was thinking of going along and seeing what is available this week, maybe bringing 1 game along, then see how things run.

May as well. If we don't play it we don't play it. But if its there we probably will.

Is it just board games or role play too? If so is there anything running?

--------------------
When Stephen Hawking guest starred on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Descent", he was taken on a guided tour of the set. Pausing in front of the warp core set piece, he remarked, "I'm working on that"

I'm reminded of a D&D discussion on another forum, during which we questioned the number of level 0 children it would take to kill a level 20 fighter, given the scenario that the fighter is on the Plane of Infinite Homicidal Children. I believe the agreed upon total was just over 6 billion (fewer if they died in such a manner that the fighter would be covered in a pile of corpses that eventually suffocates him, I believe the number for this scenario was decided to be a mere 10000), before the discussion degraded into arguments about how the fighter should be best built to specifically survive as long as possible. The ability to sleep 8 hours per day, while still being constantly attacked by children, was involved.

I think Tuesdays are supposed to be boardgames. They have other nights for roleplay, which sage might be running something on.

Sage was talking to the guy that runs Good Games and they might be trying to get something on Sundays, but you'd have to talk to Sage about that.

Yeah, I was aiming for Saturday afternoons, to haul in that Magic crowd and introduce them to something that's more worthwhile, but still equally taxing on the wallet.

So what's the current situation here?

Currently a few people are playing board games at Good Games on Tuesday nights. That's as much as I know.

Think we could play the doom board game? Or does it require 3 days of set up time?

I think Sage is going through it so he knows how it works. Dunno when he's going to play it though.

Well the Cylons won yet again.

I have a hard time reading Julian, but I usually realise he is a Cylon a turn or two before he reveals, and suspect him earlier.

I'll probably play Small World (they have the 2 mini-expansions) but it depends who will play with me.

My copy of War On Terror came in at Good Game today!... I like the fact that the guys that made the game packed everything nicely in clip seal bags (saved me the hassle of doing it myself!)... The Evil Balaclava is awesome... Depending on who's going and what we're playing (Doom?), I may bring it to the next board game night at Good Game...

Ok then.

I'll still be there. Pretty sure Nick is going. Dunno about Julian.
